Street parked, almost as if they were one of us plebs. There wasn't even a chauffeur waiting in the front seat. Have I encountered the first ever Rolls owner that drives themselves around in it?

Its funny, but that is what I think every time I see one too. I just think that the owner is too poor to get a real roller, and too stupid to not see that this is just a fancy 7.

bmw uses the same key/remote for their RRs as they do my 3 series.

There is a guy that drives one just like this in the phoenix area. I see it all the time at Frys electronics; parked in the crowded lot with everything else.

Really? Thats a shame. I remember when the Aston owner discovered that his key was just a Volvo key with leather on it.

I don't think that matters much in these days of keyless entry/go.

it does. because if i was paying 450k for a new roller, id want the experience to be unlike any other. Aston gets it. Lexus gets it. Thats about it.

I agree with you. My point is that if I was using this key to physically turn the car on then it would matter more than if it is just keyless go. I should have said "doesn't matter as much". My mistake.
